Congdon Park Shelter Rental Agreement

Rental Fees: Two separate payments

  1. Rental $50.00 plus $3.50 sales tax – $53.50
  2. A Security Deposit of $100.00 will be charged for all rentals.
  3. In the event of a cancellation, the fees except $15 will be refunded

The shelter is rented on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rules and Regulations for Congdon Park Shelter

  • The individual entering into this agreement must be 21 (twenty-one) years of age and be prepared to present a valid driver’s license and sign the rental agreement.
  • The shelter is government property and must be treated as such; therefore, no smoking in the pavilion or alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises.
  • Any vehicles left overnight will be considered abandoned and will be impounded by the proper authorities.
  • If a tent is used for the event, an additional fee of $53.50 fee will be charged, as we need to allow time for utility locations and for the rental company to set up the tent.
  • You are responsible for taking all your trash with you when you leave. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your $100.00 security deposit if any garbage is left behind in the pavilion after the event.

I have read the above regulations for the rental of Congdon Park Shelter. The Shelter must be left in the manner received. If the shelter is not found to be acceptable, I will forfeit the security deposit of $100.00 and will be held responsible for any necessary repairs.

The security deposit is required to be paid in person at 303 East Vistula Street (Town Hall) within seven (7) days of booking your rental. If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the reservation will be released and subject to the applicable cancellation and refund policy.
